Three Days of Darkness

“The story is well written … very true to Biblical history. If you are interested in reading about the trials of the Hebrews and the Egyptians during the days of the plagues, pick up a copy of Three Days of Darkness today. You will learn a lot." - Laura Hilton, The Road to Romance

The following excerpts were taken from an article that appeared in the national publications, Christian Retailing and CBA Marketplace (now Aspiring Retail):

Using the backdrop of ancient Egypt, Three Days of Darkness conveys a story of overwhelming loss and the ultimate triumph of faith during the ten devastating plagues described in the Bible. Peter Hess directs the reader across more than three thousand years and two continents with convincing characters and a powerful, yet tender, storyline.

Hess pulls real characters from the pages of the Bible and gives them realistic personalities. Moses, Aaron, Joshua, Caleb and the dreaded Ramesses, Pharaoh of Egypt, come to life, allowing us to see their strengths and their flaws. Three Days of Darkness is an important novel that allows the reader an inside look at what life was like in one of the most phenomenal periods in Biblical history.

Three Days Of Darkness was published in May, 2004 and re-relesed in April, 2007. See BOOK STORE.
